The modern IT Parks and allied buildings coming up in the country is setting up a style totally contrasting to traditional Indian Architecture. My focus is on usage of glass facades--the new trend in contemporary indian IT architecture. Yes the topic is quiet current, I wish the student adds another dmension called energy efficieny to make it very relevant.

ReplyDeleteThough the topic gives immense opportunities to click pictures of great value, one on the way to click should start evolving a eye which can see different layers of an image, and that i think is missing somewhere in the pictures.
ReplyDeleteFocus area is interesting. I am not sure this will have a wider appeal. I am also a bit skeptical about limiting the architecture or photos to only facades. I hope this will not be just walking around the street and taking pictures of the facades.

The first two pictures have some nice qualities. The first shows a fading of the color and the building. The second has interesting play of light and shade and the building forms. The third and fourth do not speak much. The last one has nice compositional characters and depth.
