Rajasthani Style Architecture

Focus area of travel: Rajasthani Style Architecture.
Rajsthan keeps a special place in tourism, culture and architecture. It is one of the hottest and driest place in India, keeping a dual character round a clock, throughout a day. If the days are too sunny and hot, the nights are very cold enough. And, by assuming this, one can never will to be at that place, but the fact is its inverse. Today, it is one of the highest economy gainer state, in which a big part comes in the form of foreign currencies. And the reason behind is its Architecture, not alone, along with the culture, which is able to pull a foreigner even from that part of world, where, they are used to live in Cold climate. It is possible, they might have problem in surviving this much of hot but their soul is set to drawn towards beautiful cities, marvellous palaces, havelis, and other attractions which is merged with the culture, their unique style of living.

And if I speak about my side, I have been very interested in Rajsthan since my childhood. I get excited whenever I imagine myself among the palaces, havelis and the people with their unique colourful dress. I get joyful whenever I think, I will be able to learn about architectue and their lifestyle responding to climate. And for this I will use my third eye, the lens of my camera, which not only allow me to visualize from different angles, but also, to make me able to do experiments in one of my passionest hobby, Photography. And in the whole session, my focus of interest will be "Relationship between Architecture and Culture of Rajsthan".

City: Jaipur, Udaipur, jaisalmer etc..

  1. The 4th picture is great in composition and atmosphere, the 2nd and 3rd are good, 1st and 5 useless snapshots. The subject is quite general and it will be a challenge to beat the trillions of photos already being made and published.

  2. Subject and expression of the pictures should be taken care of and the importance of light and shades and their relation should be observed. Pictures are average.

  4. The composition is generally very precisely thought of, in a way that shows a clear intention behind the picture and brings out the character of the architecture. In addition, the colours and lighting have come out in such a way that enhances the subject

  6. 1. images low on impact. 2. Framing is too typical and typecast. Need to find different ways so as to create an impact. 3. Some images are of poor quality. Especially the dusk time image. Cant see much. Even what is seen is not composed in an interesting way. 4. Need to decide on the main subject and try to compose in a way that it is highlighted. 5. Subject Chosen is interesting, but can not judge from the photographs that have been put up.

  7. Sounds a bit corny, academically too sincere. But for that, the photographer seems to have an eye for good photos. I would say to him / her - your theme should show thru' and should not need a big write up for it to be understood.

  8. Focus area is more about Rajasthan architecture but not about what you are planning to do there.
Cities list is very interesting. But you can easily go over the budget because of the broad nature.
The 2nd picture is interesting with its color and diffused light. The composition and the diffused light in the 3rd picture is very good. The shadows of the columns define a bit of rhythm and is a very good shot.
